It's not every day a couple comes along who are no-nonsense with their wedding details, so we were excited when we saw Verveine and Corey's big day play out with countless sweet, homey touches along the way.
The mother of the bride's backyard and the Washington, D.C. springtime was the perfect venue for Verveine and Corey to say "I do" in front of friends and family. A family friend walked the six-month pregnant bride out of the house and down the grassy aisle to start the touching ceremony that lead right into the reception.
In true backyard fashion, guests enjoyed traditional barbecue foods and tue cochon, a traditional pig roast and toasted the couple with one of two select beers in hand. Verveine and Corey's airy venue let all their guests see that their secret was in the writing on the wall: Verveine + Corey = Love.
